Position Summary:


The People Analytics & Reporting Lead is responsible for the management and administration of NBA People Analytics, which includes but is not limited to human capital data, reporting, analytics and engagement surveys. The People Analytics & Reporting Lead will partner closely with HR, and IT, and reports to the HRIS Leader as part of the HR Information Systems team.


Major Responsibility:


  • The People Analytics & Reporting Lead manages a variety of HR analytics and reporting responsibilities, including the management, design, development and delivery of HR dashboards and analytics
  • Proactively evaluate business needs and connect with COEs and stakeholders including Compensation, Talent Management, HR Business Partners and additional teams and functions
  • Develop data driven insights and HR employee lifecycle analysis to support and deliver strategic decision making for HR and the organization
  • Create and support the development of workforce stories and actionable insights
  • Proactively understand business needs and develops analytics to enable HR as a key driver of the business for standard and business specific use cases Implement new and existing HR analytics dashboards and framework to support DEI analysis, year-end performance, compensation planning and talent reviews
  • Partner closely with the HRIS and IT teams on requirements, configuration and development of data architecture, reporting platform, security and dashboards Manages requirements, testing, specifications and validation of analytics and dashboards in partnership with HRIS and IT teams Manage in partnership with HR/IT teams to ensure HR data model, governance, systems security, and foundational integration is effective and compliant
  • Develop dashboard audit capabilities to support data integrity and cleanliness


Required Skills/Knowledge:


  • 7+ years of experience in People Analytics and 2+ years managing a team
  • Tableau experience required
  • PeopleSoft HR experience preferred, SAP SuccessFactors experience a plus
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of the organization


Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
