Zendesk is seeking a highly organized Business Operations Manager to support the Marketing organization. This person will report to the Director of Business Operations, Marketing, and will play a crucial role within the Marketing organization in developing streamlined processes and leading the execution of mission-critical initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a relationships builder who partners with directors and above to lead through influence and organize teams for effectiveness and efficiency. You will have experience working in, or with, Product Management, Sales, Success, Marketing and Analytics teams. You are a cross-functional guru and have a solid understanding of strategic and operational planning and business transformational processes. You also enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you will do:
Develop internal processes to streamline and optimize the most critical work done by the Marketing organization.
Ensure process improvements are followed by Marketing leadership, and work in partnership with leadership and their teams to ensure continuous refinement and improvement of these processes.
Partner with GTM Strategy, GTM Operations and PMO teams to improve cross-functional work processes and ensure alignment and execution on strategic objectives.
Partner with Marketing team, stakeholders and PMO to drive quarterly roadmap and prioritization process for major marketing initiatives.
Define execution plans and lead execution of high impact initiatives within the Marketing organization. Identify dependencies, risks; and report status to leadership.
Facilitate large dynamic meetings to ensure the goals and outcomes are achieved, move the discussion forward, capture and follow through on key actions.
What you will need:
5+ years of work experience in SaaS or technology company
Prior business operations, program management or product management experience
Communication Skills: Exceptional listening, oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills. The ability to context switch across multiple topics effectively.
Collaboration Skills: Strong teaming skills and experience to bring together diverse views.
Results Oriented: A track record of consistently delivering excellent results, even in the face of changing environment.
Regarded as a strong performer, strong attention to detail and solid leadership skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, process information quickly and make decisions in a timely manner.
Proficiency in data visualization with tools such as Tableau, Domo, BIME etc.
Flexible/Adaptable: Have a strong sense of self and can relate well to others; learns quickly and can adapt to changes in timeframes, people and situations with ease. The ability to remain calm under pressure.
