The Marketing Analyst role is a strategic position that will report directly to the Director of Global Outbound at Zendesk and will be responsible for leading the operations, analytics and data vision for the Global Outbound Marketing organization. The role includes helping define and manage the measurable business impact of global programs, managing data vendors and developing strong working partnerships with the GtM and global SDR organizations.
A successful Marketing Analyst in this role will, in partnership with our analytics team, be able to clearly show the team's impact on the company's bottom line with metrics and reporting as well as influence the campaign strategy with data intelligence globally.Additionally, they will execute an effective data strategy that addresses our data gaps and ensures an addressable market large enough for the team to meet aggressive pipeline targets.
The ideal candidate has a passion for operational efficiency, and creativity for the way success and measurement is defined and the story it tells. The role will require extensive management involvement, so the ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable in management settings.
The position will require quarterly international travel to drive partnerships and program adoption with our regional marketing and sales teams.
Work with leadership partners to develop an aggressive but achievable global lead and pipeline model
Develop process to monitor and report out on weekly/monthly/quarterly global lead and pipeline targets
Drive a team-wide understanding/adoption of campaign dashboards & marketing detail/overview dashboard (using SFDC, Bime, Bizible)
Develop ways to get the team more visibility in the way we talk about successes on a weekly/monthly basis (identifying the right metrics/KPIs to build a narrative around)
Tools ownership/implementation (as it necessary to represent the Outbound business), including SFDC, Bizibile, ZoomInfo, and other data vendors
Business partner to marketing and sales ops (bi-directional point person to help manage and ensure adoption on systems - SFDC and otherwise)
Ownership of the QBR process - including providing the necessary data to tell the Global Outbound team narrative
Own and execute the global data strategy at both the macro level which includes owning vendor selection & on-boarding and team budget.
Management of incremental spend proposals (working with finance and procurement to develop a strategy for shovel ready projects & contracts)
Develop processes to help the team become more efficientWork with campaign enablement manager to identify and recommend solutions to streamline and optimize our enablement/adoption process (i.e. better enabling sales via yesware)
Develop a prescriptive series of comms to socialize team wins & successes
