Sales Enablement Program Manager - Product Knowledge

It’s a great time to be at Zendesk as our Sales Enablement team is expanding to meet the needs of our fast-growing Sales organization.

The Senior Sales Enablement Program Manager will drive product/solutions knowledge throughout our Sales organization. Residing within our Go-to-Market organization, this role will utilize strong training and communications skills to build and maintain a quarterly certification program for the Field, while also keeping the global Field regularly updated on all relevant product/solution news and updates.

As a close partner to Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and other teams within Sales Enablement, your objective will be to help drive Sales product/solutions knowledge through:

  • Product/Solution Certification: Working with product marketing you will create and maintain a quarterly certification program to ensure Field Reps all have consistent baseline knowledge of Zendesk products/solutions, while building in multiple role-specific levels of certification to be achieved (such as 101, 201, 301 levels).
  • Reporting/Dashboards: Ensuring that relevant, real-time reporting is easily available for Sales management to understand how their respective teams are faring with each quarterly assessment and what the impact is on sales bookings.
  • Ongoing Product/Solution knowledge: Working with product marketing, and our other enablement teams, to ensure the Field is updated in timely fashion on all relevant product/solution updates and launches. You will have the opportunity to be creative in deciding how to leverage existing communication channels to the field, and/or create an alternate channel(s).

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for training and working closely with Sales teams. We need someone who is talented, confidently humble, and who is willing to have fun at work within a dynamic high-performing team!

  • 5+ years in sales, communications, and/or sales enablement roles
  • Experience organizing communications strategies and training/certification plans
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales teams and gaining their trust and support through quality work
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Formal Instructional Design experience preferred
  • College degree required
  • Experience with Enablement tools such as Highspot and Lessonly a plus
  • Zendesk product knowledge a plus
