Lokalise is the fastest-growing language-tech B2B SaaS. Being a collaborative productivity platform, it helps to structure and automate the translation and localization process for any company in the world.

Launched in 2017, it is currently at $7.5M ARR, growing more than 8 % MoM. 2,000 companies from 80+ countries, including Notion, Lemonade, Bayer, and KPMG use Lokalise to constantly update old and add new translations.

Previously bootstrapped, we decided to raise external capital to hire top SaaS talent globally in order to accelerate growth. The company went fully-remote in March, 2020, and raised $6M from a group of reputable VCs and angel investors in September, 2020. One month later, Lokalise was included in the top 100 European cloud tech companies under $1 Bn by Accel.

We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst that will be a lead subject-matter expert on data and make a difference in our fast-paced global business. The data analyst will be involved in strategic projects, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, using data to identify and translate business needs and opportunities into actionable initiatives.

You will:

  • Answer business-related questions, make suggestions, and endorse strategic initiatives as the leading subject-matter expert on data, tools, reports, and advanced business intelligence technologies
  • Identify challenges that can be addressed with data science. Develop, validate, and run algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, identify patterns, and recommend solutions
  • Automate dashboard creation and enable users in a self-managed environment
  • Partner with other data scientists, data/BI analysts, product, and engineering owners to define measurement approaches, quantify and evaluate success, develop KPIs, and guide tracking efforts for ongoing measurement and reporting
  • Answer key business-related questions by compiling data from multiple sources to track vital metrics (e.g., churn, ARR, LTV, APRA, etc.)
  • Communicate the activities, plans, and progress of business intelligence programs to stakeholders.

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field of study.
  • Extensive experience of providing analytical insights and business reporting for product or business functions, analyzing large data sets using SQL, Looker/Tableau, and other data manipulation and visualization tools, and applying some data mining techniques, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Experience with scripting languages like Ruby or Python
  • Experience in dimensional data modeling, schema, and data blending skills
  • The ability to track down complex data and technical problems, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems

And be:

  • Driven, energetic, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented with a passionate attitude/mindset regarding solving difficult problems at all levels (conceptual, process, and data)
  • Comfortable with interpreting complex data signals and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
  • Articulate with good presentation skills

It will be considered a significant advantage if you:

  • Practical knowledge of Agile and project management skills
  • Knowledge of finance, CSM, installed base, marketing, and sales forecast analytics
  • Experience of leveraging external analytics platforms such as Heap
  • Experience working with various database systems (MongoDB, MySQL, etc.)
