About the Role

An Associate Manager is a creative solution builder, capable of managing a team and working across multiple clients or verticals to solve their complex and diverse supply chains. Leading a team of Account Managers and Operation Coordinators for over 10 Enterprise Accounts, a successful candidate will be responsible for the growth, quality, automation and margin of an industry vertical. The candidate will also be responsible for managing a team, ensuring high morale, and working cross-functionally across operations to optimize efficiency. The Associate Manager role is highly dynamic and is expected to drive new processes and change as UF develops and continues to grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, while simultaneously onboarding new customers successfully
  • Manage an ever-growing team, lead 1 to 1 meetings, and provide continuous growth and career development for reports
  • Lead and create QBRs with current customer accounts, offer strategy to fix problems and drive continuous growth
  • Ensure that each account is meeting the customer's KPIs
  • Develop a positive culture that drives people development
  • Work tirelessly to earn our customer's trust and business by solving their problems, improving our service and lowering their costs. You surprise and delight them, always.
  • Communicate across the organization, engaging with peers in every department to improve service, streamline processes, and elevate the shipper experience.
  • Analyze, present and read large data sets

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 5-8 years relative experience with at least 2 years of experience managing an Operations team with 4+ team members
  • Have a track record of being a leader and problem solver
  • A bias for action; ability to collect buy in for an idea and then carry it forward through execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills; participate in a team environment and build strong working relationships
  • Ability to manage a team of different learning styles
  • Effective communication skills both internally and externally
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A natural positive thinker, and self-motivated individual
  • An understanding of all levers of the business and a proven history of delivering results
