Zendesk is seeking a detailed, organized, high energy Financial Operations Manager to lead our growing Finance Operations team in our Madison office. The ideal candidate will have the ability to define and monitor success across multiple channels, collaborate with the global management team, and enjoy working in a rapidly evolving environment. High-tech and subscription billing experience a plus

  • Foster a culture of continual process improvement and high quality, relevant reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Sales Operations, Order Operations) to drive consensus and efficiency within Quote to Cash processes.
  • Manage a growing team of people, with a particular focus on their personal development.
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand current and future business needs and how these align with the Financial requirements and operational requirements.
  • Provide guidance and strategic Finance support for AMER sales team.
  • Identify and analyze any needs and trends requiring special attention or escalation.
  • Perform and document end to end testing in conjunction with cross- functional teams as needed.
  • Assist in internal and external audit procedures.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of business and finance processes and systems experience as a business analyst or related Finance role
  • Experience managing a team within an operational scope
  • Experience working closely with Sales or Contract Management teams.
  • Demonstrated an ability to impact an organization through process improvement initiatives, in particular around the Contract Quote to Cash cycle.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to establish credibility, make decisions, and forge relationships.
  • Energetic and dedicated
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Experience in a SssS subscription billing a plus
  • and Zuora experience a plus
