of products. We own Zendesk Billing service and work closely with product management to build subscription management, purchasing, and trial conversion features. We work on multiple revenue-impacting projects every quarter that has high visibility across the company.
You are the kind of engineer that loves solving hard problems and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves. You are driven and motivated to learn new technologies and get practical working knowledge on how to design and build complex software systems.
This position requires:
Ability to understand project tasks and make progress with team's help
Ability to design, document, implement and test software solutions that extend Zendesk Billing Service
Effective communication in agile-based work environment
What you will learn:
Architecture and design patterns of production-ready Web Application
Interacting with Zendesk customers and finding creative solutions to their billing problems
How to write unit and integration tests for complex distributed systems software
Working in a team setting to achieve business goals
You are pursuing a Computer Science or equivalent degree (preferably in your 2nd or 3rd year of college)
You have Internship experience in a software company
You have experience working with Ruby or another Object Oriented language
