DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

Zendesk is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager based in San Francisco. You will be a key member of our growing Performance Marketing team working on digital advertising campaigns that drive revenue. You will be responsible for managing, reporting, testing and optimizing Zendesk’s paid search campaigns. You must be detail oriented, data-driven and have excellent analytical skills.

The Performance Marketing team is part of our broader Growth Marketing team. You will not only be working with a top-notch team of performance marketers, but also be part of a broader team of product managers, web engineers, analysts and growth marketers. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on paid search campaign performance
  • Develop an advertising experimentation roadmap for testing new targeting, ad copy and landing pages; analyze test results to improve campaign performance
  • Drive the strategy for paid search campaigns globally and work with other digital marketing managers to optimize the channel mix for multiple markets
  • Manage global agency to ensure timely and accurate execution of global search strategies
  • Provide performance updates and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Manage global search budget and budget pacing
  • Perform in-depth analysis of campaign data to identify opportunities for optimization and to continuously improve conversion and ROI
  • Partner with the greater Growth Marketing team to identify new means of growing online acquisition to reach target buyers
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in digital advertising with hands on experience running campaigns on major search engines (AdWords & Bing)
  • Familiarity with bid management platforms (Marin Software or DoubleClick Search), as well as tag management and attribution tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proven experience in quantitative & qualitative analysis to justify proposed actions
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on real-time performance optimization
  • Experience with A/B testing
