Facebook is looking for a Portfolio Manager for it’s Legal Central Services organizationThe successful candidate will support the Director of Legal Central Services, providing management, oversight, and center of excellence elements for all three pillars of the organization. This includes day-to-day operational elements, briefings, research and content preparation, communications, project managing key initiatives, ensuring consistency where necessary and supporting unique solutions where advantageous. This person will manage preparation for a variety of meetings and initiatives, and contribute to strategic planning and key half and multi-year planning efforts across our org and our department. The successful candidate will leverage their strengths in organization, project and portfolio management, be able to shift between daily operations and longer term strategic recommendations, utilizing their excellent communications skills in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment.

  • Proactively escalate and resolve potential issues by calling them to the attention of the organization leads, sourcing and proposing potential solutions.
  • Align initiatives with strategies at multiple levels.
  • Identify and implement process redesigns for greater impact and efficiency, leveraging tools and systems (internal or external) where applicable.
  • Work with leaders across multiple levels to deliver, monitor and communicate progress on OKRs and metrics aligned with team and pillar focus areas.
  • Act as a Center of Excellence for processes and programs that are federated across multiple teams.
  • Employ a cohesive and methodical approach to Change Management activities, including efforts that will span the gamut of non-technical, technical, learning and development, and communications initiatives in the Legal and Compliance space.
  • Build positive relationships with peers and leadership across pillars, teams, and organizations.
  • Partner with key cross-organizational teammates to formalize, aggregate and solidify organization plans, including immediate next-half and multi-year strategies.
  • Manage elements of organizational budget and staffing planning as related to strategy work, including consistent “rhythm of business” elements and ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Support Director in preparation of research, findings, and presentations.
  • Develop and report out progress against plans across multiple vectors, audiences, and cadences, leveraging both internally-built channels and tools as well as third-party tools.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional peers including Finance, Recruiting, Sourcing, and others to track, analyze and report on multiple performance vectors.
  • Provide support and thought leadership on workforce management and strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience with project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations.
  • Experience with MS Office365, Google Suite (Workspace), and compiling briefing materials and building presentation materials for discussion with management, executive and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects via matrixed organization relationships.
  • Experience in overseeing OKR development, formalization, progress tracking, and diplomatic problem solving.
  • Experience handling highly confidential information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
