L3 Communication Systems-West, a division of L3 Technologies, Inc., has an immediate opening for a year-round Electrical Engineer Co-Op in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is focused on Failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system (FRACAS) within the Sustainment Engineering department.
Our program provides students with hands-on technical experience working with engineering teams in a cutting edge environment. Students are directed and mentored by experienced engineers and are responsible for assisting with projects and daily departmental/team activities.
Assist with technical and/or administrative tasks depending on functional area.
Assist with special projects.
Each intern will have a mentor to assist in completing tasks and answering questions. Tasks will be tailored to the students experience level, interests, and capabilities.

Current student enrolled full-time in an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering program (or closely related major) at a local four-year institution (position is year-round)
Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
