L3 CSW is seeking Software Engineering students to fill a year-round Co-op or Summer Intern position for our software engineering group to assist with technical tasks associated with Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The Engineering CO-OP/Intern positions provide an opportunity for engineering students who are currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering or computer science to get hands-on experience working with engineers in a cutting edge communications software environment. The co-op/intern will be called upon to support a variety of software engineering activities in a dynamic environment. In this role you may be assigned to a variety of tasks throughout the department.
This CO-OP/Intern position is for a student pursuing degrees in:
Each co-op/intern will have a mentor to assist in completing tasks and answering questions. Tasks will be tailored to the students experience level, interests, and capabilities.
This position requires the successful candidate to be a student currently enrolled in classes leading to a degree in EE, CS or CE in an ABET certified program.
Candidate must be Junior, Senior or Graduate level candidate with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Preference will be given to students attending school in Utah.
Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
