As a key member of the Client Readiness and Architecture team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technology issues and escalations to internal and external customers. The role is an important partner at the table representing Optum Technology to key clients and acting as the voice of the customer back to technology. You will work with technical teams, architects, account management teams, external clients and Readiness partners in ensuring clients implementations and product technology mapping is in place for 1/1 Readiness. You will be described as forward thinking, strategic, collaborative and determined. Being able to communicate effectively and quickly gain the trust of your audience will be critical in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee effective implementation of initiatives that have a variety of approaches and requirements in partnership with internal and external partners
  • Builds relationships with clients and serves as the primary technology point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery
  • Partner with implementation teams to ensure technology support and issues are resolved and/or mitigation plans are documented
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Drives complex, cross-functional technology issue resolution with all functional areas across the enterprise
  • Acts as outward facing, technology leader providing both internal and external support
  • Represents client internally and manages tech issue and support management
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Supports end-to-end technology coordination and alignment for client, architecture and product deliverables

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of technology and architecture support for internal and external customers
  • 3+ years of experience managing technology issues, escalations across multiple functions / processes
  • Experience working with internal teams to gain agreement on important client needs or issues to gain consensus on solutions for those needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Healthcare
  • External client facing support
  • Exceptional attention to detail, planning, documenting, organization, and monitoring skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently (both verbal and written) at multiple levels of large, complex organizations

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
