Our ideal candidate will bring experience working for and selling into agency trading desks, and will bring insight on how our DSP and Agency partners operate i.e. setup, tools, strategy, and idiosyncrasies as well as the role of data in targeting audiences across devices. Collaborate with executives in Business Development, Sales, Product, Marketing and Tech Ops to drive programmatic revenue through agency trading desks and DSPs
Manage, cultivate, and farm relationships with external constituents at channel partners to grow organic spend, upgrade integrations, respond to proposals, and present new business ideas
Monitor partner performance statistics, prepare and present materials on recommendations for improvement
Serve as an internal subject matter expert on programmatic buying
Advise internal publisher teams on yield and demand path optimization
Participate in the origination, diligence, closing, and on-boarding of new programmatic and data partners
Our Ideal Candidate:
At least 1 year of most recent experience within media trading or buy-side experience using a programmatic solution
Prefer 4+ years of digital media +/or programmatic sales experience
First person experience with ad technologies, such as: DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, measurement vendors (e.g. fraud, viewability, etc.) and data providers
Consultative selling skills with the ability to anticipate and overcome concerns by positioning value propositions in relation to client needs
Data-Driven individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible, self-starting attitude; able to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the organization
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college
