Web Content Manager

Expedia Group Travel Partners Group (TPG) is responsible for helping lodging partners succeed worldwide by sharing marketing and distribution strategies that drive traveler demand.

The Web Content Manager will be responsible for Expedia partner sites to drive growth, optimize journeys, and maintain content. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the website experience is optimized for Expedia partner sites to increase online conversion and drive growth against key business goals. You will do this by leading the end-to-end management of the website funnel, from insight generation, hypothesis creation to implementing tests and reporting on findings. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a record of transitioning, maintaining, and optimizing global websites in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Provides leadership and structure for website, development, updates, and enhancements to ensure our website is user-focused and provides intuitive desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Utilize the content management system to execute regular content updates for the website, including building and maintaining new landing pages.
  • Author, publish and QA web page layouts and components, verify features, and ensure the pages are functioning properly.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve content quality, maintainability, and usability making sure the site is compliant.
  • Handle workflow and execute incoming website change requests, ensuring timelines are met for multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
  • Coordinate content flow between designers, producers, writers, and partners
  • Lead website testing and optimizations programs to ensure optimal user experience and make improvements as needed.
  • Handle content optimized for search (SEO) for multiple audiences.

Who you are: 

  • The successful candidate will be skilled in CMS. 3+ years of experience in web content management preferably AEM
  • 1+ year of A/B testing & and content personalization principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident with management and able to clearly articulate thoughts and recommendations with attention to detail.
  • Experience using behavioral data tools like Heatmaps, click maps, user testing and online surveys to drive test ideas and share findings.
  • Consistent record of effectively handling multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with GA 360, Google Optimize and Google tag manager to analyze data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team as well as with 3rd party agencies.
