What you’ll achieve

As the Internal & External Communications Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor to the President of Consumer Small Business and his senior staff, providing strategic counsel and execution support. You will also develop, manage and execute the internal and executive communication strategies for Dell Technologies’ CSB leader that aligns the team around our vision, strategic initiatives and priorities.

You will:

  • Manage Executive Communications for the Global Channel Chief, including development and execution of speaking opportunities, written communications and social media

  • Support internal and external message development and execution - including proof points that tell a strong story

  • Capture the authentic voice of leadership in written communications and partner with them to deliver a vision to their team

  • Regularly consult with executive leadership, communication colleagues and other business partners to ensure strategic alignment, monitor and advise on communication efforts and manage business risks

  • Understand key business drivers and competitive dynamics to position business interests successfully with target groups and achieve absolute understanding and mastery of plans and programs, and provide counsel

  • Drive team member engagement by ensuring communications promote a collaborative, connected and inclusive culture including the support of change management initiatives, as needed, to help team members navigate organizational change

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of technology-related communications experience

  • Knowledge and experience with planning, implementing and measuring strategic communications

  • Creative problem-solving and collaboration skills, excellent communications skills, both verbal and written with robust experience developing compelling presentation materials

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-changing environments effectively

Desirable Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of multi-media platforms for executive storytelling, like blogs, video production, podcasts, social media and webcasts

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
