Supervise the development and implementation of business services layer to integrate with third party applications. Work with business stakeholders, System Engineers, and third party application vendors to develop technical requirements for enhancement of existing features and/or new features for the Bank. Review business requirements and work with multiple stakeholders to coordinate the development and implementation of software modifications. Work with business functional experts, project managers, business analysts, testing teams, and configuration teams to ensure the smooth delivery of new software solutions. Facilitate cross-functional design review meetings and provide input on proposed solutions. Ensure compliance with Synchrony Bank architecture, security, and technology standards. Ensure compliance with change control release management processes. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the functionality of enhancements implemented in the business services layer. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor, progressive, related work experience in the IT industry.
Must also have the following:
2 years of experience developing software solutions for the financial services industry;
2 years of experience working in software production support;
2 years of experience troubleshooting complex information systems, developing action plans, and identifying resolution options;
2 years of experience working on cross-functional teams in the IT industry; and,
1 year of experience developing and implementing software solutions based on the Fiserv platform.
Travel up to 25% is required.
