The Director of the Commvault Customer Reference Program is responsible for the vision, strategy, execution and management of the global program. This person must also develop a robust portfolio of strategic customer references aligning to Commvault’s key strategic initiatives and defined sales and marketing reference priorities. S/he must cultivate strong relationships with sales and marketing leadership, cross-functional teams of subject matter experts and strategic customers to ensure the successful outcome of the overall program’s mission and goals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead a global team and vendors to plan, build and implement solutions to deliver a successful customer reference program.
  • Lead the change management program, including the oversight of the successful rollout of new reference structured programs for sales incentive and customer recruit/retain/reward
  • Rebuild and relaunch a customer reference platform that become a self-service tool for the field, while driving all program activities and is the system of record for CR.
  • Become the internal champion of CR, both inside marketing, across the field sales organization and with executive leadership.
  • Introduce and deliver a slate of "lighthouse customer references" that help drive brand awareness and reputation for Commvault.
  • Successfully deliver and manage project plans, budgets, etc.

What you need to be ready:

  • Strong management skills and the ability to lead, motivate and manage direct report
  • Detail oriented with strong program management skills
  • Able to work with cross functional teams in a global organization
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
  • Possess strong product/technology/industry knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • 10-12 years of customer reference or related programs required, with people leadership experience required
  • Highly flexible, professional, with great presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task across highly complex and matrix'd programs.
  • Must be able to manage in a high-change environment.
  • Can concieve new organizational programs an dprogram models indepenently.
  • Has vision beyond current program.
