We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized team player to join Thrive Global as the executive assistant to the COO/CFO, in addition to working with other members of the leadership team. The ideal candidate has experience managing an ever-changing schedule, providing administrative support and leading operational and special projects, communicating effectively across a company, and serving as bridge between external and internal contacts to ensure all of the pieces are moving in the right direction. The role requires a mastery of details and strong organizational and communication skills.
-Managing the executives' calendars, prioritizing appointments, spacing things efficiently, and making sure all parties are aware/prepared for any upcoming meetings.
-Coordinating events and various special projects
-Representing the executives and the company in all communications – as well as in person – for both internal and external commitments.
Intangibles about the role: -Candidate needs to thrive in a start-up, fast-paced environment, and really excel at proactively anticipating what the executive may need next
-This person should have the mentality that "no job is too small or unimportant" and "no challenge is too large to tackle." It's important to excel at the little things AND the big things, since they all contribute to the overall flow of the day.
-An eagerness to learn and grow on the job is a must.
