We are looking for an experienced Nurture Strategist who can make an immediate impact on our team. In this role, you will combine your current knowledge of email marketing skills and best practices to improve our nurture tracks for both new and existing customers. You will work with our fellow marketing rockstars all over the world, as well as cross-functionally across other departments to localize and scale our programs. The ideal candidate will be improving our existing nurture programs, identifying and building new nurture flows to move prospects down the funnel, build long-term customer relationships, and improve engagement and lifetime value.

This is a high impact role and you will be expected to work in close partnership with key leaders across Marketing, Customer Success, and Data teams.

  • Drive continued optimization and evolution of our email nurture flows, including email activation, lifecycle trigger programs, and transactional messaging that drive meaningful business growth.
  • Design a content roadmap, based on which types of content perform best for each segment and ensure all assets in use are current and kept up to date. An effective nurture strategist knows which content resonates with which audience, and how each content piece is performing over time.
  • Set the standard for content quality. This isn’t just from a performance standpoint; it also applies to tone, positioning statements, and key message points. You should be comfortable crafting email copy.
  • Audit our existing nurture flows to balance early-stage and late-stage content, applying best practices and data with the goal of optimizing for pipeline generation.
  • Maximize successful approaches and run tests to improve them - always enhancing and optimizingMeet KPI targets for customer movement through the purchase sequence.

  • 4-6 years experience in content marketing (customer acquisition, lifecycle, brand), including 2 years in email, ideally in consumer technology
  • Messaging comprehension. An understanding of what our different markets want, and which messages will resonate best with each.
  • Editing skills. A sharp grasp of language, along with the ability to clearly communicate how a piece of content should be positioned.
  • A head for numbers. This candidate should be data-driven with email performance metrics, and able to assess that performance over time.
  • Strong project management skills including: conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations.
  • You possess a strong understanding of consumer mindset and consumer empathy and you have a dedication to great consumer experiences.
  • You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver, and have a high level of accountability.
  • You have a natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • BS/BA degree (in communications discipline or marketing background highly preferred)
