THE ROLE: SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER - BEHAVIOR CHANGE PLATFORM
Thrive Global engages individuals in behavior changes that positively and measurably impact their well-being and performance. We focus upstream before stress and burnout lead to symptoms, and create sustainable behavior change by leveraging our compelling content and IP, and developing and deploying innovative tools to engage users and help them go from knowing what to do to actually doing it.
Our product vision is to build a comprehensive Behavior Change Platform to individual and enterprise customers, consisting of two main areas.
1) a mobile application that identifies pain points through an onboarding assessment and continually monitors stress and well-being through automated tracking and routine check-ins. Employees receive personalized behavior change recommendations (Pathways and Microsteps) and relevant Thrive Journal content
2) a measurement tool providing a quantitative view of individual and company performance 3) a data and analytics layer with APIs connecting HR systems and third party apps/devices (e.g. wearables).
We are in the early stages of executing against the product vision and this role will have a big opportunity to shape the future of the company.
Bring a passion for user-centric design to the product development process
Use your strong analytical mindset; use data to drive decisions; ask the right questions through data insights
Communicate the process and progress of the product to all relevant parties internally
Understand the mobile application ecosystem, competition and partner/user requirements
Identify opportunities, build business cases, and define mobile platform vision and strategy for Thrive Global and its partners
Technical engagement with engineers on feature design, technical specification and deep OS and device capabilities
Collaborate with Thrive Global executive team to ensure mobile platform fits within broader company mission and product offerings
Lead cross-functional team and external stakeholders by enabling, inspiring, and involving them in the product development process
Research, plan, expand, strategize and prioritize the backlog into a detailed plan for tactical execution
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of product management experience
Experience leading one or more teams as the singular product owner or domain expert
Experience across mobile operating systems and across devices
Experience in a KPI/OKR-based development, with proven ability to exceed expectations
Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Experience creating strong product and engineering culture, including rapid delivery to market with quality
