As an associate product designer in San Francisco, you will join the product design team in evolving Support, the flagship product for Zendesk – a beautifully simple system for tracking, prioritizing, and solving customer support requests. While you will be learning to lead design projects from research to ideation, you should be fully capable of using Zendesk’s design system to solve problems at the execution phase.

What you get to do everyday
  • Assist on design projects across the product lifecycle and multiple product launches
  • Work across cross-functional teams, partnering Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers on taking concepts from research to ideation to execution
  • Present design solutions to stakeholders, defend design decisions, and incorporate feedback into the design cycle
What you bring to the role
  • 1+ years of professional experience designing business SaaS applications
  • Capable of communicating and prototyping design concepts rapidly at all levels of resolution
  • A strong portfolio that showcases your work, provides detail of your role on projects, and shows examples of functional designs that you have developed from start to finish
