Video Production Coordinator


PowerToFly, the fastest growing platform, and community connecting diverse talent in tech with companies that value diversity, equity, and inclusion, is looking for a video producer who’s ready to showcase their unique skill set and make their mark on the hiring industry (and essentially the world).

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of video production and project management, who wants to join us in the challenge of developing and improving remote video production.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent project management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects at the same time. This person must be detail-oriented, organized, and ready to work in a fast-paced global environment. This person will report to our Lead Video Producer but interface heavily with our partner companies - be ready to also learn and work with a scrappy team of marketers (while teaching us something new)!

This person should be able to:

  • Coordinate video campaigns from start to finish - from storyboarding, creating a production plan, emailing with clients, interviewing clients, editing, to collaborating with the greater marketing team on promotion.
  • Stay organized with a keen attention to detail. Good time management skills are a must.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively via email and on virtual calls with clients.
  • Keep deadlines and ensure projects are moving according to schedule.
  • Manage, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at the same time, as well as quantify success of our videos.
  • Effectively use project management tools such as Asana or Excel is a plus.
  • Think strategically when curating video content, from ideation to execution, and make suggestions on where/ how video should be used in marketing campaigns.
  • Use Adobe Premiere. Some understanding of Adobe After Effects is preferred.
  • Accept constructive feedback with ease from both the internal PowerToFly team and partners/ clients.
  • Write short-form copy in grammatically correct English. No typo is too small.
  • Be flexible and creative. You’re expected to solve problems with your unique tool set. From editing videos, researching a company or thinking of new ways that we can market our videos, we are a multi-functional team, always looking for new inspiration!
