The Environmental Test Engineer will develop and implement tests to ensure that assemblies produced meet quality expectations.
Ability to coordinate test efforts through all phases of the manufacturing processes while contributing in a high performance team environment.
Accurately create test setups, instrumentation collection equipment and generate test reports.
Ability to interface with Hardware, Software Engineers as well as internal and external customers.
Debug thermal chamber and vibration test systems that are not behaving properly.
Hands-on setup and testing for stringent hot / cold thermal cycling, vibration and shock testing.
A BSME/MET/CS or related technical degree.
15+ years environmental and test engineering experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications, computer network environments, and military communications data link equipment is desired.
This position will require some weekend, and second shift work and occasional overtime.
An understanding of Environmental (Vibration, Altitude, Thermal, etc) Testing is desired.
Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the successful applicant's skills, education and experience.
Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
