ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking to hire a Global Program Manager who is passionate about building and scaling our Sales Operations function within New Verticals, Uber's fastest growing business.

 

This role calls for a combination of creative problem-solving, operational optimization, data analytics, salesforce acumen, and project management. You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a startup environment. You will work cross-functionally with other business partners to launch and grow this new arm of the Uber Eats business.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Scope: Develop business cases, prioritization frameworks, and functional linkages to support global work streams within Sales Operations
  • Build: Create innovative, scalable solutions to support the overall commercial strategy
  • Analyze: Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of programs intended to multiply sales headcount productivity.
  • Iterate: Be committed to finding the best solutions through iteration and learning from failure. Identify programmatic opportunities throughout our team operating model and work to implement process improvements
  • Influence: Manage cross-functional projects with our sales operations org as well as in partnership with key stakeholders such as product, S&P, and systems


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • A minimum of four years experience a combination of management consulting, strategy, operations and project/program management
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other contact relationship management tools (CRM's) and datasets
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel / data management skills


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project management skills. You can bring order to ambiguous problems and help align all partners through to execution.
  • Ability to synthesize information quickly. You are able to distill key takeaways and weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires.
  • Stakeholder management. You are able to build deep relationships across a broad organization, cultivate a fun and collaborative work environment, and identify problems from different perspectives. Humility and empathy are essential to success in this role.
  • High standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with.
  • Self-motivated. You work independently and possess strong organization and time management skills
  • Grit and perseverance. You are passionate about a challenge and push yourself to persevere when others back away.
  • Management consulting, strategy work in a large business, project management, or investment banking experience (2+ years preferred)
