WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone with hybrid talent who excels not only in creative strategy and concepting, but can also work with other writers as a copy-editor.

As a Brand Narrative Manager, you will help create the narrative and voice that expresses the heart and soul of the brand through our athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer! You will help drive and champion creative strategy, narrative, concepting and copy-editing across the globe and aligned to the strategic direction provided by the Global Kids Brand Marketing team.

You enjoy collaborating and working in team environments. You’re not afraid of ambiguity and pushing your thinking to deliver innovative ways of storytelling.

You have a proven ability executing against strategic goals, and have experience driving your own workstreams and presenting your ideas articulately to others. You can balance multiple projects and manage your own schedule effectively to meet deadlines.

You enjoy the craft of storytelling and proactively look to build on these skills.

When it comes to directing other creative teammates, you are familiar working in close partnership with other writers, designers and producers. You’re able to understand and participate in strategic conversations and can help lead partners through creative strategy, concepting and execution.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will help push complex workstreams independently and in partnership with teammates in order to develop fresh creative ideas that answer various marketing briefs. We expect you to deliver end-to-end creative solutions for Kids projects including, but not limited to: Seasonal Product Stories, Long Term Consumer Concepts, Sport/Cultural Moments, etc.

You will work with the team around you to translate briefs and marketing plans into emotive and innovative stories.

You will often work across multiple projects, which will require you to carefully plan and manage your schedule effectively. You will also need to communicate your ideas to various internal and external audiences.

You are also someone who is hungry to keep learning and stay abreast of the constantly changing digital/social landscape and understand the balance of art and science so that we can continue to push innovative and impactful ways to tell our stories.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report into the Sr. Director, Brand Narrative, but day-to-day you’ll work with a team of writers, designers, studio managers and producers. You will also work closely with the Brand Creative senior leaders. Beyond this core team, there will be initiatives where you also work with external agency partners to bring your ideas to life. You’ll also be required to collaborate with your counterparts across the Geo and Territory Studios to help develop and use our creative network.

Within the broader Marketing function, you will work closely with the Kids construct team to strategize and execute against the annual concept map, developing and delivering creative that answers their briefs.
