Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer/Electrical Engineer (level 1/2). This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, California. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Vehicle Engineering organization. The successful candidate should plan to work full time in 2022 after graduation. The selected candidate will be expected to research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems. Roles and Responsibilities: Electrical systems requirements development & analysis System, subsystem, and unit-to-unit electrical block diagram generation Power and command & telemetry hardware resource management and allocation Electrical Connectivity development for spacecraft harness design • Command Telemetry database development Fusing, signal integrity, and electrical interface compatibility analysis Basic Qualifications for Associate Electrical Engineer: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering or a STEM degree Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile) Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering or a STEM degree Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile) Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular). Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
