    Job Description 

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual that has experience in a closing role to join our fast-paced, high-energy team. In this role, you will support the Sales Team, helping us engage in sales cycles with both Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts. This role reports to the Head of Sales Development on the Marketing team at Gainsight.

    What you'll do

    • Manage outbound campaigns to an assigned set of accounts; offer recommendations to enhance the campaigns based on results.  
    • Create account plans with your Account Executive by identifying key personas, researching account history & recent news/funding.
    • Set qualified meetings and generate interest based on business challenges to engage in an enterprise sales cycle.
    • Translate our value proposition for customer success into the prospects’ language and solve their pain points.
    • Use curiosity in order to understand prospect’s challenges, begin a deal cycle, and evaluation of a solution.
    • Entice prospect to engage in sales cycle with an Account Executive.
    • Work closely with and foster relationships with internal account executives and sales leaders.
    What we’re looking for


    • CRM Experience Required, Salesforce is strongly preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Effective problem-solving; resourcefulness
    • Highly organized; responsive to the needs of your customers and team


    • 2 Years of full sales cycle experience is strongly preferred
    • Understanding of B2B SaaS is strongly preferred
    • Strong experience using sales tools (LeadIQ, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
    • Interpersonal communications; you can adapt your communication style for different recipients
    • Flexibility; you enjoy working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
    • Adaptability to work with multiple internal tools; you would consider yourself technology savvy
    • Self-motivated and curious; you like to ask questions to learn more
    • Open to coaching; you take feedback and utilize in positive effective manner
