This position will focus on providing a structured approach to enabling outsourcing solutions, as well as on coordinating the security, technology and other cross functional engagements as part of implementations of new/expanded outsourced operations. This role will be a key component to leading the development of operational strategies and processes as well as driving improvement initiatives, with special focus on information security risk exposure (proactive & reactive) and advocating the right secure technology solutions for our third party outsourcing space. As this role requires interaction with different groups both inside and outside of Facebook, strong communication and influencing skills are required. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, end to end process management, information security and/or outsourced operations setup in large BPO implementations or other large scale operations.

  • Manage complex, high-impact implementation projects. Define requirements and build project plans to programmatically manage them to closure based on criticality.
  • Create standardized processes and policies for all aspects of outsourcing solutions, with special focus on security, technology, business continuity and other operational areas. Collaborate with required stakeholders and cross functional teams to drive awareness, adoption and improvements.
  • Manage and triage risks, issues and escalations and coordinate with internal teams to create mitigation and prevention plans.
  • Work with Security, Engineering and Operations teams to support security initiatives such as third party security exhibit, security audit findings/analysis and remediation, vendor access profiling and authentication, and tools externalization to holistically improve the security posture of outsourcing.
  • Research the global outsourcing landscape to support the team by providing insight on new security standards, new technologies, and other factors impacting the outsourcing strategy for Facebook.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Facebook's security and privacy processes and policies to help evolve and strengthen them. Communicate concepts to leadership, business and cross-functional partners effectively to help build for scale and quality.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, business process improvement, risk management or information security management, especially for BPO and/or large-scale operations.
  • 3+ years of experience working on a global and/or cross-functional team with an international footprint.
  • Knowledge in problem solving, multi-tasking, organizational and analytical skills, coupled with the experience to act independently across competing priorities.
  • Experience in developing workflows and process documents in multiple formats and tools.
  • Experience in influencing, organizational, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple time-zones, depending on the needs of the specific projects.

  • Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement expertise.
  • Experience with security and technology setup of outsourced operations.
  • Knowledge of data security frameworks and regulatory standards, including any of the following: GDPR, PCI, SSAE18-SOC2, ISO27001/2, NIST and/or SOX.
