We are looking to add a Technical Analyst to our Clearinghouse product. The Clearinghouse provides a vital link between healthcare providers and insurance payers for some of healthcare’s most essential transactions. The connective pipeline created by the Clearinghouse is a foundational piece of infrastructure to the Internet of Healthcare that we are building at Olive.

A successful Technical Analyst will possess strong analytical skills and some experience in Healthcare (e.g. Billing, EDI transactions, Payer). Attention to detail and the ability to self-learn are required. This position requires the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences, from our customer's billing department, EDI support at insurance carriers, to Olive’s Engineering team.


Responsibilities
  • Interpret (and sometimes implement) Customer’s claim editing logic in Olive Clearinghouse’s platform.
  • Manage rules based engine (claims editing, workflow routing, query building).
  • Implement new claim editing based on rejected / denied claims.
  • Track and analyze various EDI transactions from customer to payers.
  • Perform research on EDI transactions by contacting payers and managing follow up.
  • Communicate with Olive Clearinghouse’s Engineering team and participate in the product development process as a business logic resource.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in healthcare management or equivalent professional healthcare billing/EDI/Payer experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare billing / EDI / payer field
