The Global Outsourcing team contributes directly to Facebook's mission by connecting internal product and business teams with world-class third party vendors to enable and accelerate growth.Facebook is currently searching for an experienced professional to join our Global Outsourcing team as Commercial Insights Manager, with a core focus on value optimization. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of internal teams and drive impact by focusing on constant improvement. Ideal candidates will have experience in Business Process Outsourcing procurement and analytics.

  • Gather, organize and interpret data and apply your expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to comprehend and tell the story behind numbers and derive actionable insights for category managers
  • Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, quality and other relevant factors and effectively work with internal and external partners to ensure Facebook receives optimal terms for service delivery
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to continually benchmark the industry to monitor cost and technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into our service delivery model
  • Develop and maintain a nuanced understanding of the BPO market landscape in order to anticipate changes in industry trends and support the development of Facebook’s response to material changes
  • Identify and drive outsourcing and process improvement solutions for internal business stakeholders
  • Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity and deliver quick results with a team-player attitude

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (with preference in Marketing/Marketing Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or other analytical or commercial fields)
  • 5+ years of experience in operational and/or financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience in financial statement analysis to derive should-cost models and cost competitiveness/financial strengths of suppliers, as well as gathering market intelligence
  • Problem solving and analytical skills including experience in data analytics and statistical programming with experience in using statistical tools such as SQL, R, SAS, SPSS etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and repositories such as MS Excel, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Scuba, Hive, Unidash, Google Data Studio
  • Experience acting autonomously across competing priorities and perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Communication and presentation skills on data analysis and trends
