What Will Your Role Be?

As the North American Marketing Events leader you would be resposible to develop and drive a strategy through the execution of unique events, experiences, and field marketing programs to drive B2B demand and raise awareness Dassault Systemes portfolio. Events include customer conferences, thought leadership webinars, tradeshows, internal events (sales & leaders conventions) through both physical and virtual/digital.  We are looking for that key individual that will test into diefferent event formats to indendfy and then scale top performing strategies. 

The Challenges Ahead:

  • Define local North America events portfolio to support local business, awareness and enablement objectives aligned with strategic guidance from global events
  • Ensure event selection aligned with resources (budget and people) and business targets (contact, open lead)
  • Partner cross-functionally with other members of the marketing team to identify opportunities to leverage events and online experiences to amplify the impact of their programs and campaigns
  • Help to develop and implement our strategy for external events and conferences, working cross-functionally across marketing and sales to ensure a strong presence at key industry events
  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, content marketers, and other creative partners (internal and external) to develop the content and assets for different events programs
  • Help to develop effective tracking and reporting across all events initiatives to ensure we are measuring impact, gathering learnings, and continually improving
  • Develop an editorial line or a read thread for each event from the communication plan to event execution and follow up through an integrating marketing plan (using both online and offline methods)
  • Manage event lifecycle management in alignment of Corporate guidance and in compliance with processes  (planning / execution / monitoring / project management)
  • Works with internal (Sales, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Digital, Brands and Industries) and external resources to obtain needed materials and services
  • Brief & manage event agencies/vendors as needed

Your Key Success Factors:

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in managing event teams or field marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years in working at B2B or B2B2C technology companies
  • Experience in working with agencies or advertiser
  • Content design expert with event production skills a plus
  • Highly organized, structured, and detail oriented. You are an expert at managing complex projects, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders, sticking to tight timelines, and nailing all the details.
  • Proven events manager. You have led the development and execution of online and offline events and experiences.
  • Great communicator and cross-functional partner. You are great at building relationships, connecting the dots between different teams, and keeping everyone on the same page with clear and regular communication.
  • Proactive and self starting. You actively seek out opportunities to solve new problems and can independently work towards creating solutions.
  • A savvy marketer and storyteller. You know what a great marketing brief looks like, you always keep the customer / audience in mind, and you use your marketing skills to up-level our creative outputs.
  • Experience using virtual event platforms such as Hopin, Livestorm, Zoom, etc
  • Multilingual - Spanish and/or French a plus
