    Position Overview

The Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) portfolio connects the office, trailer and field so customers can move seamlessly through each phase of a building’s lifecycle — from design and preconstruction to construction, turnover and operations — with best-in-class solutions that include Assemble Systems, BIM 360, BuildingConnected and PlanGrid. General contractors, subcontractors, and owners around the world rely on ACS to win more work, enhance collaboration, speed decision-making, reduce risk, and improve overall project outcomes.

    We are looking for an experienced, product-focused Full Stack Engineer to join our team and build the next generation of construction productivity software. Our customers are building some of the most amazing construction projects on the planet, and Autodesk allows them to be radically more efficient. You will be responsible for enabling our customers to share learnings and standardize their processes worldwide.


    • Building, shipping, and maintaining features on our products within a large, service oriented architecture

    • Maintaining a high standard of code quality by promoting team best practices around testing, code reviews, and design patterns

    • Translating complex design and product requirements into discrete engineering tasks with level of effort estimates with the teammates

    • Communicating status updates, identifying potential blockers, and resolving the root cause of slowdowns with Product Managers and the rest of the engineering team

    • Driving the design of our APIs and backend services

    • Understanding product and business requirements as a foundation for making technical decisions

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred in Computer Science /Information Systems/Engineering/related field

    • At least 5 years’ experience working as a Full Stack Engineer of complex applications

    • Solid knowledge and experience with functional or object-oriented programming and good understanding of data structure and algorithms

    • Solid Proficiency in backend development including: RESTful API, full-stack web-technologies, specifications and frameworks

    • Solid proficiency working with virtualization software (Docker, VMware, VirtualBox, etc.) , Container Orchestration Services such as (ECS, Openshift or Kubernetes) and AWS cloud services

    • Solid proficiency integrating and automating with dependencies management and continuous integration tools such as Maven/Gradle and Jenkins

    • Proficiency in a source control system (preferably Git)

    • Solid experience in micro-services design architecture and implementation with Twelve-Factor App and API-First Development

    • Humble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support your colleagues

    • Outstanding communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

    • Highly organized and can write clear and reader-friendly documentation

    • Collaborative and work well as a member of the engineering team

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and commit to agreed business goals

    • Familiar with non-functional testing such as load, performance and resiliency testing

    • Working in an agile environment using test driven methodologies

    • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
