We’re looking for a creative and innovative content producer with a knack for writing impactful, compelling short and long-form content — from catchy emails and website copy to researched briefs and white papers that tackle DEI trends and explain our products and services.

Our content team is small but growing, and you’ll have the chance to shape that growth. You’ll work on blog posts, email campaigns, ad copy, reports, white papers, presentations, infographics, and more to build awareness and leads, and help establish PowerToFly as a thought leader in the DEI space.

As our B2B Content Strategist, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring we convey the right message at the right time to turn prospects into leads and leads into clients as they move through our campaign nurture stream (you’ll also play a big part in deciding what this journey should look like!).

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in the DEI space so that you can effectively share data, insights, and trends
  • Write in a compelling, impactful manner––just because it’s B2B doesn’t mean it should be boring!
  • Create 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads and awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.)
  • Research and write various types of content on a wide range of topics in the DEI and talent acquisition spaces that are optimized for search and geared towards our target market; you will draft blog posts in support of driving leads and awareness, and/or other important metrics aligned with company goals.
  • Help manage the script and production of videos that tell the PowerToFly story and explain our products and services
  • Support content development for advertising, emails, and search campaigns
  • Provide feedback to other contributors and edit/proofread content (no typo is too small!)
  • Optimize content for lead generation and the B2B buying journey
  • Collaborate with internal marketing colleagues, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
  • Own our B2B keyword research strategy and define buyer personas in conjunction with our Digital Marketing Associate and Sales team so that all content-production is informed by our target audience

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • A passion for DEI
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think big picture, and rely on data to make decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Semrush, Google Ads, and Data Studio is a plus (but absolutely not a requirement! if you have the will to learn, we can teach you!)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
