CE Marketing is looking for an ambitious Senior Marketing Manager to join our Vendor Planning team. This role will oversee annual marketing plans for Retail-managed vendors in Consumer Electronics (CE). This Manager will work closely with Vendor Managers, Amazon Advertising, and Amazon program teams to develop vendor marketing strategies and holistic annual marketing plans. This Manager will also act as the primary Marketing contact for a CE category team. This includes working closely with CE Marketing's Marketing Operations and Demand Generation functions to share updates on marketing programs, report on merchandising performance, and create Marketing updates for top category vendors.
In this role, you own the strategy for annual marketing plans in a CE category team. You will also track vendor investment goals and develop strategies to meet vendor growth objectives. In addition to meeting with top category vendors, you will develop scalable ways to share marketing plans, talking points, and innovative opportunities with Vendor Managers.
You must be a self-starter with strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an ability to drive innovative programs involving multiple stakeholders. This role requires strong business and retail acumen, excellent written and oral communication skills, creativity, and a deep knowledge of marketing and advertising opportunities.
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as retail, brand management, or partner marketing · Experiencing using customer insights and data to deeply understand the customer base · Strong knowledge of Retail fundamentals and vendor growth metrics · Strong composure, judgment, negotiation skills, influence, and leadership skills. · Strong understanding of financial levers and vendor investment · tracking and reporting processes, techniques and technologies · Bachelor’s degree.
· Demonstrable, successful, history of defining marketing strategy and executional excellence · A strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives · Ambitious self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done · Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks · Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization · MBA preferred
