What does the Global Blackbelt Business Applications team do?

Our Microsoft Business Applications, Global Blackbelt team gets involved at large strategic clients and opportunities when it really matters. We are a diverse team of experts who shape compelling value propositions for our customers and sell large transformational deals to them. Our team members have deep industry know how, business value, outcome-based selling, technical, and strategic deal crafting experience. With you, we are seeking to add one more Sales Director with deep healthcare or life sciences expertise to our team.


So, what would your role be as a Senior Sales Executive?

As a successful Business Applications Sales Director, you will co-create and shape innovative customer-specific winning value propositions for our most strategic customers. You will build deep relationships with healthcare and life sciences Industry leaders. You will collaborate and co-sell with internal and external Microsoft ecosystem partners (like global system integrators and independent software vendors) throughout the strategy, solution, proof and closing sales stages. You will also enable our field sales executives to replicate your successes.

What should you expect during the hiring process?

Our interview process consists of 3 to 4 individual interviews and one final recruiting panel discussion. During the interviews, you will get a chance to get to know our entire EMEA leadership team, one technology specialist manager and our global Vice President. For the final panel, we will ask you to prepare a pitch to demonstrate to us how you sell.

  • Strong sales and business background centered on healthcare & life sciences software technologies combined with deep understanding of key industry solutions and competitive technologies.
  • Ten (10) plus years of industry-related experience leading sales pursuits and coaching teams to achieve quota sustainability growth year-over year.
  • Strong partner and go-to-market experiences including market activation, global coordination and execution.
  • Extensive experience in working with high-performing sales individuals and software partners is required.
  • Strong business planning and coaching/instilling business discipline skills woven with ability to encourage sales/tech sales team to develop and implement targeted plans.
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and drive digital transformation deals with healthcare & life sciences customers.






Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-year active healthcare or life sciences work experience in a leadership role in charge of transforming the organization (highly desirable).
  • Extensive knowledge of health technology and the healthcare or life sciences industry with experience in large scale digitalization strategy programs. 
  • Extensive working experience in leadership roles in the healthcare or life sciences technology sector.
  • Experience in business development and/or sales in the healthcare or life sciences industry
  • Exceptional relationship, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work successfully across a complex, highly matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross functional teams with a high degree of independence and success.
  • Clinical training and experience (highly desirable).
  • Life sciences / genomics / clinical research experience (highly desirable).
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft product offering (desirable).
  • Design Thinking and Solution Envisioning is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 solutions is a plus.
  • Experience working within the Partner Ecosystem for Dynamics is a plus.
