EIP is seeking a Receptionist & Office Manager in New York, NY. The Receptionist and Office Manager will run day to day administration of the New York office, help plan office events, and manage calendar scheduling for executives on the EIP team and more. This position will is set to begin in August 2021 and will be in New York, New York.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and warmly welcome office visitors
  • Be the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, ensuring that communications accurately managed and noted
  • Order and restock snacks/food/beverages and organize team lunches
  • Manage low-level IT requests, maintaining our office wifi, video set up, etc.
  • Ensure office tidiness and cleanliness
  • Professionally answer the phone and transfer calls as needed
  • Maintain office supplies and place supply orders as needed
  • Actively monitor the kitchen keeping it tidy and organized, including the dishwasher and refrigerator
  • Assist with event planning, coordinating, and final execution
  • Ensure conference rooms are always meeting ready
  • Manage outgoing shipping request via various mailing services and distribute
  • Interface with the building’s property management as well as all of our office service vendors to keep the office in pristine condition at all times (electricity, cleaning, maintenance, alarm system, etc.)
  • Keep organized schedule of office meetings, appointments, and events
  • Manage calendars and act as executive assistant for EIP executives
  • Handle other ad-hoc day-to-day operational logistics

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support position or work in a relevant field (e.g. administration, communications, assistant, receptionist)
  • Excellent organizational skill with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, be personable, trustworthy, and dependable
  • Ability to interface and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience planning and managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Observant and intuitive to be aware of all office activities and needs
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once with extreme organizational mindset
  • Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and not ego-driven
  • Tech-savvy with ability to learn new software’s and create a smooth-running office experience
  • Self-starter and growth orientated.
  • High EQ and IQ
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
