The role of the Wellness Coach is to serve as the anchor and facilitator in community-based Wellness Workshops.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the Wellness Workshop discussion ensuring all members of the WW community feel included, involved and invited to participate
  • Demonstrates active listening
  • Inspires members to make positive changes and celebrates progress towards goals
  • Serves as WW Program Expert for members
  • Leads WW Studio team to deliver excellent member experience
  • Establishes rapport with members through one-on-one interaction, workshop facilitation and consistent leadership
  • Has knowledge and understanding of WW tools and digital tools, including Program materials, Apps and technical tools, and can help educate members
  • Prepares for Wellness Workshop Facilitation by understanding weekly topic and relevance to member success
  • Champions the WW Program
  • Delivers excellent Wellness Workshop experience to drive member referrals
  • Has responsibility for Wellness Workshop attendance growth
  • Possesses selling skills, identifies member needs and recommends WW products and tools
  • Manages tally reconciliation and timely bank deposits

Job Requirements:

  • Achieved and maintained (or continued loss) for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks
    • 10% weight loss or healthy BMI weight with minimum five pound loss (if joined outside the healthy BMI range); or,
    • five pound loss (if joined within healthy BMI range) on the WW program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications
  • Ownership and active use of smartphone and regular access to Internet-enabled computer or tablet
  • Superior organizational, communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Facilitation skills, team leadership, and ability to build community

Wellness Guide Job Description

Job Summary:

The role of the Wellness Guide is to welcome Members as they enter the Wellness Workshop and to provide guidance and motivation to help them in achieving their personal health and lifestyle goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first face of WW and establishes baseline rapport with members of the WW Community
  • Serves as Program Role Model by demonstrating program success
  • Welcomes and engages members into the WW Studio experience
  • Consults with Members to help determine personal wellness goals
  • Enrolls new members into WW program
  • Provides support/consultation during weekly member Wellness check-ins
  • Helps integrate new or visiting members into the studio community
  • Possesses strong technical skills and is able to process members through computerized system and troubleshoot as needed
  • Has knowledge and understanding of WW digital tools, including Apps and technical tools, and can help educate members
  • Demonstrates knowledge of WW Program and provides members with accurate information
  • Has the ability to learn and successfully process paper tally reconciliation
  • Possesses selling skills, identifies member needs and recommends WW products
  • Processes meetings/members through computerized system
  • Solves member/system issues using provided resources, including utilizing Help Desk and Customer Service line
