In close collaboration with our Client Partners, our Industry-focused Practice Leads play a key role in our growth and are tasked with both business expansion within existing accounts, as well as prospecting new account relationships and growing them. This role requires extensive CxO relationship building and other executive connections, as well as a focus on revenue, client satisfaction, delivery success and employee development. To achieve this, candidates must bring excellent consulting and relationship management skills and a deep appreciation of IT tools, techniques, systems and digital solutions. The North American Insurance Practice Lead will be accountable for measurable revenue growth goals working in close partnership with Client Partners and Client Portfolio Leads.
The individual will be expected to:
Drive profitable growth in multiple client accounts in the Insurance industry.
Have regular meetings and interface with the customer decision makers and influencers.
Have a complete understanding of the relationship position within client accounts.
Be co-responsible with account client partners for execution and customer satisfaction.
Produce industry thought leadership, speak at industry events and drive innovation.
Focus on increasing the visibility of Sapient in the insurance industry.
Be part of senior management reviews for the performance metrics of account relationships.
Collaborate with multiple service lines, innovation teams and business teams.
In addition, the qualified candidate will possess the following:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in a client facing role and/or account leadership role in the IT professional services or management consulting firm.
Experience with the global service delivery model.
Depth in understanding of business problem domain, technology and services solution domains.
Understanding of and thought leadership in technology, services and insurance business trends.
A relationship oriented style and demonstrated capabilities in building and sustaining CxO and CxO-1 relationships.
Strategic thinking and the confidence and ability to plan ahead.
Experience of leading diverse teams and experience of cultivating and collaborating in a multi-cultural environment.
Must be able to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence.
Strong executive presence. Comfortable presenting to C-level executives as well as senior business and technology leaders.
Knowledge of value articulation principals that include client ROI and appropriate storyboarding techniques.
Knowledge of client context and client engagement guidelines including organizational sensitivities to consistently look for new solutions.
Experience, insight, and credibility in the L&A and or P&C insurance domain.
Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills.
Strong leadership skills and demonstrated capabilities of being a thought leader.
Should be able to conceptualize, analyze, create blueprint for business transformations and present solutions in the insurance domain.
Bachelor’s Degree minimum with advanced degrees preferred.
