  • PowerToFly is hiring a self-motivated and highly experienced Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced and collaborative development team.

Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Experience with test case management tools and bug tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile and Cross-browser testing.
  • Advocate for QA best practices across the development and engineering teams.
  • Ability to design and execute test scenarios for new software features.
  • API testing.
  • Participating in non-functional testing tasks (Performance, Security).
  • Create bug reports and communicate issues with development and other stakeholders.
  • Assist project managers and product owners in planning and estimating for QA/testing tasks and help ensure the QA tasks are delivered within the required project constraints.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to ensure the QA artifacts are planned, managed, and delivered throughout the SDLC and project lifecycle.
Essential requirements :
  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing/SQA experience
  • Ability to test and assure quality large value web/mobile applications, content management systems and websites.
  • Proven experience in a number of different types of testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, SEO)
  • Experience in testing across multiple browsers and devices (Mobile, Desktop, Tablet)
  • Strong knowledge of software QC methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Solid management tool experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Good work ethics, team player, positive and self-motivated.
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Desired requirements:
  • Experience with non-functional testing tasks (Performance, Security).
  • Automation testing experience.
  • Experience with test cases management tools.
  • Knowledge of testing Saas applications (Eg: Salesforce).
