What does the Product Team do?

The Product Team drives the development of Logicworks' product portfolio. They sit at the crux of Logicworks delivery teams, Managed Services and Professional Services, to elicit requirements for what is needed, and then bring that vision to life. It’s a cross-functional team with individuals from diverse backgrounds focused on building quality products.


What You’ll Do

  • You will product manage Logicworks’ UI-based software products that are used by both clients and internal teams. These UI-based products include our Logicworks client portal, monitoring, data loss prevention, and reporting systems.
  • The role is a collaborative member and product leader for our Pulse software development team. You will work with our NYC and Seattle-based team of full stack developers, web designers, and QA engineers.
  • You will own requirements discovery, agile product delivery, stakeholder management, and product strategy for our product portfolio.
  • You will lead sprint planning sessions, daily scrums and will be responsible for the user experience.

This cross-functional role also collaborates with marketing, sales, and customers to prioritize the product roadmap, communicate product vision, and solicit product requirements.


  • Optimize product roadmap in Productboard
  • Write agile stories in Jira, including:
    • User Experience
    • Business Logic
    • Acceptance Criteria
  • Manage Jira backlog, roadmap/releases, and sprint reporting
  • Project management of agile software development team
    • Scrum master
    • Lead sprint planning sessions
    • Lead sprint retrospectives
  • Author product documentation & requirements
    • User guides
    • UI Mockups
    • Architecture diagrams
  • Analytical measurement of customer engagement with our products


Required Skill Set

  • Product Management leadership skills including requirements discovery, stakeholder engagement, and product strategy
  • Agile product delivery management using Atlassian Jira
  • Amazon Web Services fundamentals, including:
    • Cloud native architecture
    • EC2
    • Serverless including Lambda
    • Queues
    • Databases
    • S3
  • Software development fundamentals
    • APIs
    • Relational & non-relational databases
  • Google Analytics or similar
  • Responsive web design fundamentals
  • Effective written & verbal communication with both technical and commercial teams

Desired Skill Set

  • Programming fundamentals – while this is not a software developer position, you must understand software development; some experience in at least 1 programming language is highly desired
  • Application security fundamentals
  • HTML
  • JavaScript basics
