As a Director of UX, you will lead a team through the discovery and framing of problems, the alignment of design strategy and experience requirements, and the implementation of entire end-to-end experiences to improve Expedia’s products and services for millions of our travelers and partners worldwide, every day.

A UX Design leader with 10+ years in the field, people-management and team-development experience, a degree in a relevant field (human-computer interaction, graphic design, interaction design, computer science, or communications), and a portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications
What you’ll do:
Inspire and lead teams of designers, content strategists, and researchers in the creation of delightful, easy-to-use experiences that are grounded in observations, research, and analytics, informed by competitive and innovative experiences, and validated through testing
Drive program-level experiences that span customer touchpoints, devices, and platforms, meeting the needs of a diverse group of travelers and partners to drive business results
Partner with product and engineering leaders to align on problems and product direction, evaluate success criteria, and prioritize an efficient roadmap
Mentor, grow, and recruit UX talent and advocate for user-centered design practices
