Oversee the research and insights team at a national and growing OOH company. Provide rationales, “stories” and insights to support account executives sales efforts at the CMO/brand level, strategy teams and agencies, and regional clients. Represent OUTFRONT on industry boards, committees and association. Help drive leadership in the media industry through strategic thinking.
Lead research group in NY and around the country.
Work with general sales teams to help deliver research in support of media proposals.
Strategize with direct sales team to help create a story using research, data and insights.
Develop and manage relationships with primary research partners and Industry suppliers and associations (Geopath and OAAA).
Work closely with internal teams toward evaluation and implementation including: product and engineering teams, go to market and marketing.
10+ years experience in a Marketing Research & Insights Role.
7+ years experience leading and motivating teams.
Deep knowledge in utilizing consumer market research data, including Census data and syndicated research studies, with the focus on location & OOH Advertising.
Expert in consumer market research applications, such as Telmar media analysis tools, TNT Crosstab applications on GfK/MRI data,and PrimeLingo on Scarborough Research.
Understand the concept and applications of the segmentation systems, such as Prizm Premier, Tapestry and Personicx.
Strong insights and experience in managing consumer focus projects, including questionnaire design and all related analyses.
Full knowledge of media spend analyses and sales lead generation tools.
Must be able to work in fast-paced environment; meet strict deadlines & handle multiple ongoing projects concurrently. Must be very detail-oriented.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Masters preferred.
