We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner to join Thales e-Security, a subsidiary of Thales USA, in Plantation Florida.
This role will be a strategic finance partner to the Thales e-Security Worldwide COO, VP of Legal and VP of HR as well as a key resource for the Thales e-Security Worldwide Finance team. The Global Finance Business Partner reports financial status of business results by preparing and analysing financial plans, forecasts, and reports.This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections.
Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports and executive summaries
Track financial status of functional performance by monitoring variances from plan and rolling forecasts.Identify root cause of variances and make recommendations to mitigate gap
Provide financial oversight, advise and rank investment decisions
Follow, report and advise on capital project financial performance against plan, identify and advise on mitigation strategies
Support the CFO in the development of relevant business analytics and reporting
Track headcount and open position trends and changes
Implement and carry out appropriate governance controls
Identify and manage the performance of internal metrics and KPI’s
Maintain functions accruals, prepayments and other relevant adjustments
Identify cost efficiencies and synergies
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.
IFRS / GAAP knowledge
Thorough knowledge of tracking cost and resource utilization with analysis of impact budget, cost, and scheduled deadlines
Experience in analysing quantitative and historical information and presenting data for decision support
Experience with systems and process re-engineering
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with financial models
Demonstrated abilities in Forecasting, Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Budgeting
Strong mathematical aptitude
Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work to deadline
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
Ability to prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Capable of working in a matrix environment
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional levels
Effective communications, and presentation skills, both internally and externally
Be robust and outgoing
Be a strong stakeholder manager
20% Travel, domestic and internationally
CPA, CIMA, ACCA or other relevant finance qualification
Bachelor Degreein Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a relevant discipline in the information technology industry
