We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. We are looking for an experienced, strategic, high-energy, revenue focused, and hands-on business development manager. This person will be responsible for leading initiatives with and deriving revenue from strategic technology partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explore, qualify structure, negotiate, and execute partnership programs and agreements.
  • Drive technical and commercial analysis and build business cases to support partnership initiatives that align with Thales eSecurity priorities.
  • Work with other parts of Thales eSecurity to develop engagement plans to achieve success for both Thales eSecurity and collaborates.
  • Identify and track relevant metrics of success.
  • Map partner organizations, design go-to-market plans, and understand partner sales processes & routes to market to capitalize on the opportunity for Thales security and the partner.
  • Navigate partner organizations and persuade decision makers to prefer Thales eSecurity in their go-to-market, sales, and other strategies.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the partnership and provide education, awareness, and assistance in closing opportunities to Thales eSecurity field sales and field engineering organizations.
Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience working in enterprise software at a top tier organization, ideally with a focus on business development or go-to-market. Security market experience a plus.
  • Experience working with partners, channel, and/or system integrators to build strategic programs that drive demand.
  • Excellent knowledge of all areas of business operations
  • Demonstrable results in business development and/or related partner-focused experience.
  • Technically savvy and experienced with security and storage markets.
  • Strong oral and written communicator, great public speaker
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, organized self-starter
  • High energy, sense of urgency, passionate, committed, engaged
  • Smart, decisive, organized, data-driven, biased toward action
  • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to influence internal and external constituents to realize the value of working on partnership and/or business development initiatives
  • Creative and critical thinker
  • 20%-25% travel required.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering) Master’s degree a plus
