We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The Test Automation Engineerwill be an individual contributor who with minimal supervision will work closely with systems, hardware, software, security, and other test engineers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the key R&D stakeholders to create automation plan that support a shared vision of improving our customer’s experience with our current and next-generation products.
  • Contribute to the team to help design and implement the test automation plan as well as individually contributing in the implementation of the plan.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest automation technologies to ultimately drive innovative automation approaches that support increased productivity and faster time to market.
  • Attending and contributing to team level reviews, e.g. design reviews, code reviews, and use case / test case creation.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) environment and working knowledge of Agile SCRUM development practices.
  • Good understanding of transitioning requirements and use cases to manual test cases that can be later converted to automated test cases
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, estimation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in test automation and the utilization of automation program in Python (Preferred), Java, C#, Ruby, or C++.
  • Object Oriented Design/Principles (e.g. SOLID Principles)
  • Experience in Linux and Windows operating systems and virtualization of operating systems.
  • Experienced with embedded systems, embedded software is a plus.
  • VMware or Virtual Box experience is a plus.
  • Experience in machine-to-machine and user interfaces that utilize RESTful designs is a plus.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree involving Programming (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering), Master’s degree a plus
