Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Technical Lead for our new Site Reliability Engineering Team in Enterprise Services.  This team will help support the broader vision of the Enterprise by enabling cultural and digital transformation.  Individuals will be responsible for developing and implementing secure solutions for highly reliable and scalable IT services and products. Duties include: Research, design, develop, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems, to support migrating legacy applications to cloud native solutions such as serverless or kubernetes based platforms Planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for working with information security to ensure requirements are met Serves as organization spokesperson on multiple advanced projects and/or programs that have a direct impact on Digital Transformation Provide technical leadership to Site Reliability Engineering Organization, providing guidance on standards and best practices Investigate new solutions through rapid development of proof of concepts Consult with teams to support their growth in the use of modern architecture and processes such as kubernetes and GitOps Basic Qualifications:  20 years' experience with no degree; 14 Years with BS; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD Experience implementing AWS or Azure infrastructure to support multiple product lines Proficient using code, such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell, for automating operational tasks Experience developing applications for hosting on a kubernetes orchestrated environment Proficient using Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible and Terraform                                 Preferred Qualifications: ComptTIA Security+ Certification Certifications in AWS or Azure Experience implementing zero trust architectures Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
