Office is the leader of Microsoft’s mobile first, cloud first strategy. Office 365 was the fastest business in Microsoft to reach $1B revenue and this growth has continued with sustained triple digit YoY growth as customers’ transition from boxed software to the cloud. We already have 200+ million users in our service in every worldwide geo, with a significant influx of users’ onboarding every month across EDU, small, medium, large and governmental organizations across the world. And this user base will grow more than 1B with the upcoming outlook.com convergence.

 

Our group’s mission is simple: deliver great & innovative collaboration experiences across all form factors. This will help share ideas, spur creativity, break silos and make decisions more quickly and drive business agility though open communication.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong program manager who embraces the challenges of developing connected applications and turns them into streamlined experiences for enterprise customers. In an ever-increasingly collaboration driven world, we are seeking someone can use deep insights from customer interactions, competitive analysis and product telemetry to design and build product apps and services.

 

This position is perfect for someone who loves working with customers, collaborating with teams across Microsoft to define Product feature roadmap/execution plans and create compelling demos that demonstrate the potential of applications/workflows.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:
-A university degree (BS or MS) in Computer Science, related degree or equivalent experience

-Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and shipping high-quality software products
-Real world experience with Office 365 or equivalent productivity software/tool
-Experience in building distributed systems that cater to the needs of a large user base

-Strong written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Candidates will have:
-Strong customer focus and passion for doing what's right for the customer

-Strong technical problem solving skills
-Great cross-group collaboration skills
-Relentless drive for results

-Excellent judgment, decision making skills

-Ability to go technically deep and quickly ramp up on new technologies
-Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments
-Excellent presentation skills and experience of presenting to developers up to senior management

-Strong independent thinker who works well in a team setting
