Partnership Manager

We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to spearhead the development of our partnership program for both the Apartment Therapy and Kitchn brands. This person will be a highly strategic thinker who is data-obsessed, highly creative, and is able to move as fast as the digital landscape in which we operate. This role will report to the Executive Director of Audience Development and will play a key part in growing Apartment Therapy and Kitchn's audiences through strategic partnerships.

This role will also work closely with the Manager of Email & Acquisition to deepen the user experience, drive traffic and grow our highly engaged email lists. The Partnerships Manager will also bring new ideas for email programs, traffic generation, list expansion and revenue initiatives and help to manage paid budgets and execute paid campaigns on Facebook, Google, and other platforms.

The Partnerships Manager should be well-versed in audience acquisition and community engagement through Facebook, search, email, Instagram and emerging social platforms. This role will also be involved in building a syndication program for Apartment Therapy and Kitchn content and will be responsible for tracking and optimizing KPIs critical to this program.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Apartment Therapy media's existing social partnership program
  • Identify syndication opportunities and build relationships
  • Work closely with the audience development and editorial teams to identify audience engagement and growth opportunities
  • Identifying target audiences and reaching them through new and creative partnerships
  • Analyze, report on and optimize performance
  • Post daily to Apartment Therapy and Kitchn's owned social platforms
  • Generate solutions to increase website visit frequency and drive conversions such as social media fans/followers, registrations, and newsletter sign-ups.
  • Work closely with Editorial on email content, series and daily distribution
  • Manage newsletter partnerships to increase acquisition (sweepstakes, co-branded mailings, etc).
  • Use Facebook Ads Manager to execute paid campaigns
  • Collaborate with the digital product owners to formulate and execute new online strategies and projects.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in an audience or editorial role at a digital media company
  • Strong knowledge of how major social media networks operate (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc), as well as experience within the Facebook Ads Manager platform
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Google drive
  • Skill in Microsoft Excel preferred but not required.
