We are seeking an innovative and driven Marketing Communications Managers to join the Worldwide Learning Go-to-Market team.

Responsibilities

In the Marketing Communications Manager role, you will focus on one of these two areas:

 

Marketing strategy for the skilling product portfolio:

  • Drive product marketing and brand portfolio strategy and execution for offerings within the skilling portfolio
  • Build end-to-end narrative and messaging framework for portfolio of learning offerings across audiences (commercial, partners, academic, and individual learners)
  • Increase positive Microsoft Learn brand perception by generating awareness and value of training and certification investments and offerings through owned and operated channels and with analysts and thought leaders, in partnership with the Corporate Communications (AR/PR) team, to increase mindshare and drive positive perceptions with technical professionals and employers.
  • Identify opportunities to bring learner and organizational success stories to life to story-tell the impact and value of training and certifications
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic marketing alignment for learning offerings and ensure marketing needs are clearly understood and properly prioritized
  • Establish ongoing feedback loops with internal and external partners to understand how things are landing and required updates

 

Go-to-market strategy for our Global and Future Skills programs:

  • Own the WWL GTM strategy and execution for the Global and Future Skills Programs including but not limited to Microsoft Learn for Educators, Global Skills Initiative, and the Datacenter Expansion Skills Program
  • Drive a unified communications strategy for Global and Future Skills Programs, including messaging framework, internal, and external comms plans, in partnership with the Philanthropies and Education marketing teams
  • Partner with Global and Future Skills Programs team and Philanthropies (CELA) to help build future programs and offers; uncover insights on learner needs and behaviors to inform program roadmap and prioritization of features
  • Orchestrate alignment and integration of Global and Future Skills Programs into existing Integrated Marketing engines (e.g. blogs, social, events, etc)
  • Conduct research and studies to better understand the needs of the students, technical educators, and job seekers
  • Identify and create compelling customer success stories and related customer-facing artifacts
Qualifications

Qualifications:

·        5+ years of experience in product marketing and/or marketing communications; Product/program marketing, program strategy, audience marketing experience

·        Creative thinker that generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas that generate business impact

·        Excellence in developing and implementing marketing motions, including messaging, storytelling, and customer experience

·        Proven experience establishing strong collaborative relationships across a varied set of stakeholders and organizations

·        Self-starter, with shared ownership mindset & strong attention to detail   

·        Self-awareness, the ability to be self-critical and a strong desire to learn/grow

·        Excellent communicator, presenting to large and small audiences
